As an Accommodation & Hospitality Intern at Atlas, youโ€™ll be the go-to person for all things student housing. From check-ins to maintenance, and from laundry runs to student support, your work will make a direct impact on the student experience. If youโ€™re practical, people-focused, and eager to learn, this is your chance to dive in.

Your tasks and responsibilities

The Atlas intern will provide support in the Accommodation department of the school, helping manage student residences and ensuring a high standard of comfort and hospitality for our students. The role includes hands-on responsibilities in our apartments and occasional contributions to the social programme and broader operations team.
Key duties and responsibilities:
  • Perform check-ins and check-outs at student apartments according to the weekly schedule
  • Monitor cleaning standards in the residences and coordinate with hired cleaners
  • Collect dirty laundry from apartments and return it to the school; receive clean linen and check inventory
  • Prepare linen bags for upcoming check-ins and restock linen supplies as needed
  • Carry out linen changes and light cleaning in apartments when required
  • Conduct basic maintenance tasks (e.g. A/C filter cleaning, mold or pest treatment)
  • Assist with furnishing or purchasing supplies for student apartments
  • Oversee student behaviour in the accommodations and report any issues to the manager
  • Provide student support in the residences, including occasional after-hours assistance
  • Support the social programme and school events in emergencies, and help train new interns when needed
This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) spread across 5 days, with 2 days off each week. Weekend work is required, especially for check-ins and check-outs. Your schedule will vary and may include evenings and weekends. You will be informed of your weekly schedule every Thursday.

Monthly contribution: โ‚ฌ500 per month to support living expenses. In addition, we offer free accommodation in one of our student apartment shared twin rooms within walking distance to the school. We offer 10 days of paid holidays for a 6 month internship. We also offer a โ‚ฌ300 travel stipend for flights. Atlas t-shirts are worn as uniforms.
