In this role, you’ll be an essential part of our team, helping plan and coordinate exciting events and an international conference for hlt.digital project in Feb 2024, while also managing our social media presence. This internship is a great chance to gain practical experience in event management and digital marketing, as you’ll be involved in creating memorable experiences and building a vibrant online community.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Your tasks will include:
- Assisting in the conceptualization and planning of events, including conference in Feb, 2024, and teaching workshops.
- Collaborating with the events team to create event timelines, budgets, and detailed plans.
- Coordinating with vendors, suppliers, and partners to secure necessary resources and services for events.
- Communication with participants via email and in person.
- Helping with event logistics, such as venue selection, set-up, and on-site coordination.
- Assisting in the development of event marketing materials, invitations, and promotional content and also feedback forms.
Social Media Management:
- Managing and curating content for our social media platforms, including Facebook and LinkedIn in connection to a project.
- Creating content for this channel.
- Developing a content calendar and scheduling posts to ensure consistent and engaging social media presence.
- Engaging with our online community, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Monitoring social media analytics to track performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Creating visual assets, graphics, and videos to enhance social media content.

|You will acquire knowledge on:||Event Planning: You will learn the fundamentals of event planning, including conceptualization, budgeting, logistics, and vendor coordination. This will enable you to assist in organizing successful and well-executed events.
Social Media Management: You will gain insights into effective social media management, including content creation, scheduling, community engagement, and analytics tracking. This knowledge will help you develop a strong online presence for our organization.
Content Creation: You will learn how to create compelling and engaging content for event promotions and social media platforms, such as blog posts, newsletters, graphics, and videos.
Marketing Strategies: You will be exposed to marketing strategies, including social media campaigns and email marketing, which will enhance your understanding of promoting events and building brand awareness.
|You will acquire skills in:||Event Planning Skills: Through hands-on experience and guidance, you will develop essential event planning skills, including strategic thinking, project management, and attention to detail. You will learn how to create event timelines, manage budgets, and coordinate logistics, honing your ability to execute successful events.
Social Media Management Skills: You will gain proficiency in managing various social media platforms, learning how to curate content, engage with online audiences, and analyze social media metrics. These skills will empower you to build and maintain a strong social media presence for our organization.
Administrative Skills: Throughout the internship, you will develop organizational and administrative skills in maintaining records, coordinating tasks, and providing on-site event support.
Collaboration and Communication: Working with the events and marketing teams will improve your collaboration and communication skills, essential for effective teamwork and successful event execution.
Customer Service Skills: Assisting in event support and engaging with online audiences will strengthen your customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for event attendees and social media followers.
|Education||Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master´s degree program in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Digital Media, Business Administration, or a related field.|
