Gain some practical experience by working with children and teenagers, supervised by our expert teaching staff, who will give you valuable insights to make the most of your experience.

A great start to your teaching career, at the same time that you immerse yourself in Spanish culture in the sunny, safe and vibrant city of Seville in the south of Spain.

Your tasks and responsibilities

You will:

  • Teach English classes to children, teenagers and possibly some adult students
  • Assist other teachers as necessary.
  • Plan classes.
  • Help create and produce classroom resources.
  • Help evaluate students and may meet with parents to talk about students’ progress.
  • Teach classes in nurseries with 1-2 year olds.

– How to work with very young learners in groups.
– How to teach English according to the European framework of levels.
– Cambridge official English language exams.
– How to assess students’ levels
– How to use digital and interactive resources in the classroom.
– How to teach the Jolly Phonics method.

YOUR PROFILE

Education Bachelor or Master, preferred to be currently studying a related subject to education, teaching, languages or similar
Skills and experience What we look for:

  • Organised, good knowledge of English, experience of working with young children.
  • Punctual and flexible.

ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS

Availability Also outside Erasmus+ Traineeship Programme (also without grant)
Financial compensation Yes, 600 euros/month financial compentsation on top of Erasmus + grant.
Interns must be available for the entire 10 month period, from August 21st 2023 to 25th June 2024.
