D2 – Analytics is a research company that provides insights and intelligence about Countries, Regions, and Cities.
Our proprietary D2 software analyses the interest and performance of Countries, Regions, and Cities in the areas of Tourism, Investment, Export, Talent, and Prominence/General Reputation. D2 – Analytics is a sister company of Bloom Consulting, a global consulting firm specializing in Nation and City Branding and Placemaking, working for Countries, Regions, and Cities across six continents since 2003.
We are seeking to recruit a Data Analyst to join our office in Madrid, Spain, for a curricular internship.
The main role of the Data Analyst intern is to help and support D2 – Analytics Senior Consultants in D2 – Digital Demand, D2 – Digital Supply, and D2 – Live-Quanti projects.
Your tasks and responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Do data processing and analysis of raw data, mainly in Excel but also through our internal IT solution.
- Do data insights reporting in Word and PowerPoint.
- Conduct desk research.
- Participate in creating perception surveys for our client projects and data clustering of the results.
- Communicate with the IT team and outsourcing partners.
- Do customization of the corporate data visualization software.
- Attend meetings with clients as part of the team (if required).
- Play active role in developing Bloom Consulting Country and City Brand Rankings or other research projects.

You will acquire knowledge on: | Professional Development: we provide a chance for our interns to face a real challenge, so the internship is not about making coffee or copies of documents. Interns work in the back office of projects and are given a lot of responsibility. Personal Development: you will be given the opportunity to learn by working side by side with your individually assigned mentor/supervisor with a significant experience in the field. |

YOUR PROFILE
Education | You are currently a Bachelor or Master student majoring in Economics, Business, Engineering, Business Intelligence, or similar. |
Skills and experience | – Proficient knowledge of Excel and competent in Microsoft Office in general. – Very high level of English (speaking, reading, and writing), as it is the company’s official language. Spanish is a plus. – A strong data-oriented and analytical person with problem-solving skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines. – Entrepreneurial mindset to approach projects and tasks. – Professional attitude, accountability, enthusiasm, and willingness to work hard. – Previous experience may be a plus, but it is not mandatory. |

ADMINISTRATIVE MATTERS
What else do you need to know?
– Physical presence is required (office in Madrid city centre).
– Work schedule 9-18h from Monday-Friday with a one-hour lunch break.
– A hybrid work model can be discussed according to the autonomy of the candidate at a later stage.
– The general requirement for all interns is a university-internship agreement with Bloom Consulting (an agreement provided by your university or an internship program such as Erasmus+). Valid health insurance coverage for the entire internship duration.
– The minimum duration of the internship is 3 months.
