About the Company
Roots Radicals is a sustainable company with the mission to reconnect people back to food. Our focus is on the concept of circular and waste-free cooking. To fulfill our mission, we apply preservation techniques for the creation of various products that highlight the cultural and ancestral history behind the technique and recipe. We also use rescued/organic/local fruits and vegetables from different suppliers such as Tiny Farms and Querfeld. Closing the loop, our by-products are upcycled to create vinegar, spices and kimchi or put to use in the canteen. The other important values at Roots Radicals are community and transparency, which is why we offer a series of workshops and classes on zero waste, food upcycling, preservation and fermentation.
